The Puppetmaster Update

As night begins to fall you could feel the vibrations of the world around your body, the nearby towns ringing their bells to welcome another night. They welcome a quiet evening as braziers, torches, and candles are lit...but as the sun left the sky there were no stars, no sounds of the night, barely a breeze as inky darkness blanketed the world. Slowly, carefully, the sky opened above the dungeon.

Moonlight illuminated your domain, seemingly drowning out the firelight in the distance. The night air became heavy, stagnant even as a familiar energy resurfaced inside your body. A palpable terror explodes through the world around you the darkness seeming to come alive in that moment.

The ringing bells take a foreboding tone as their sound dampens and mutates. From a ritual welcome to twisted taunt, a harrowing challenge. Your dungeon now acts as a beacon for mortals, as if lit by a terrible spotlight. You know they're going to send fools to their doom...and tonight couldn't be more perfect...
